The Falling Rock: Pinkham Notch, NH

Took this picture Sunday morning on our way up through the notch. It had rained all day Saturday so the blue sky was such a treat.

We always called this the Falling Rock but I think it's real name is Glen Ellis Boulder. It really shows up better if you enlarge the picture.

I actually hiked up there about 20 years ago and ate lunch on the rock. It is definitely not falling!

Beautiful picture. It looks like smoke rising above the rock into the lovely blue sky. Nice job.

It decided not to fall all the way to the foot of the hill :) That blue is bliss!

the boulder would rather have the fantastic views of the sky than fall! Thanks for visiting my place. Beatiful blue skies you have to enjoy.
