A Wet Weekend

We had sun for about 2 hours on Saturday and, luckily, that's when I was at the beach. Since then, it's been cool, rainy, cloudy, and foggy. Where's summer?

Back from Florida

I painted the pages of a small journal before leaving and took them with me. I didn't have much time to journal, though, because we were so busy boating and visiting.

It was nice to have a break!
The stuff on the right is just whatever I had hanging around on my desk.

Sunset in Florida

This is one of the skies I saw in Florida last week when we were there on vacation.

School's Out for Summer!

I'm sad to say that this is the last page I have completed. It's beeen such a busy spring so crafting has had to take a back seat.

We'll be on vacation in Florida for the next week but when I get back, I'll get back to normal.

School got done today for the summer. Yay!

The Last Pennant

I guess my camera focussed on the left-hand side of this two-page spread. I've got to work on paying more attention!

Anyway, this is a summary of last week.

Duh! I just noticed that I spelled beer wrong! I put bee-can chicken.

I know my pennant wasn't made with a lot of artistic materials but I just didn't have very many at camp with me. So, I went to the beach and used all these found materials. Different, for sure!

A Surprise Visit

Erin stopped by with Kylie this afternoon and my mom was so tickled to have a chance to play with her great granddaughter and talk with her granddaughter.

My mom=83 1/2
Erin=almost 31
Kylie=3 1/2

Aren't they all beautiful?

Another Pennant

I took the picture of this page in the sun and the paint is metallic, thus the shine. Probably the shade would have been better.

Coincidentally, when this pennant arrived, I was doing the Seven Ages of Man with one of my classes.

Way Behind

I'm so behind in my journaling. It's a tough time of the year since all my crafting stuff is at camp. So, during the week I'm going through a minor withdrawal.

Two more weeks of school! Can't wait!
