Fun Stuff

Yesterday: Sunflower picking

Yesterday: Walk through Rachel Carson Nature Preserve in Kennebunkport, Maine. Gorgeous with the fog creeping in.

A couple monkeys!

And gymnasts!

Today: Cascade falls

I love how Tori is so kind to Kylie. She made the varsity cheering team at her school and is teaching Kylie all the cheers and gymnastics moves.

Where Does the Time Go?

Yikes, another month is about the bite the dust. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Saw this gigantic hibiscus!

I love to walk at night. The sky is always so beautiful.

Just a cool picture of grafitti.

A couple of beach visits now that most of the tourists have cleared out.

Full moon time. I just had my iPhone with me. Bummer!

Kylie and Tori snuggling with Bentley, Bob's caretaker's goldendoodle puppy.

Bob and his caretaker's niece.

Kylie communing with the sea.

Kylie learning to pilot Grampy's boat.

And out for a bike ride with Grammy in the sunset.

Some bokeh

Our beautiful Eden with beaming mom, Alissa. Three weeks old, already!

Monday

We went to Salty Bay for lunch. I had delicious scallops.

We sat in the back on a picnic table overlooking Scarboro Marsh

Saw these pretty blue flowers.

Love Kylie's braid.

And her silliness.

Afterwards, we stopped at Palace Playland so Kylie and Erin could go on some rides.

Only Erin went on this one even though Kylie wished she could. Maybe she'll be tall enough in a few years. Erin is at 8 o'clock. That's her leg hanging down.

And, here's Ky on the swings. Earlier this summer she wasn't quite 48" and couldn't go on these swings alone. Today, she was tall enough. Someone's growing!

Then, we walked along the edge of the beach to meet Gary.

It was wicked busy....too busy for me to enjoy it. My favorite time is September and it will be here before we know it. But, look at that beautiful blue sky! Can't beat a day like this one for the weather and the fun...

and being with this nut!

Took a trip to visit my niece yesterday.

This porch scene welcomed us.

And Alissa's pretty garden.

Her whimsical mailbox.

Their home was once a post office.

Then, we went inside to the best part.

30-hour-old Eden Marie Blue.

My sister, Nancy, holding Eden, her first granddaughter.

My sister, Sally, holding her great niece, Eden.

River, holding his sister, Eden.

Can you tell I like her unique name?

It was wonderful holding all that sweetness!
