Do you have days when it seems like you are one color? That happened to me a little while ago. All day I gravitated to purple things and I didn't even realize it until I picked a color for my background and then noticed that I'd been the personification of purple all day.

I know what you mean about gravitating to a color. A lot of times an altered page will end up being shades and hues of one color. In fact, my last post was just that--all in pinks/reds. Tone-on-tone is soothing to me.

I love the "no husband tonight" but... it seemed to go well with the merlot :)
Its a really pretty, relaxing layout.
It was a picture of a mauve carpet that I though would match but ended up not really. I left it in anyway. I could have looked for a quote or something to cover it with but it was late and I was tired and that was that.
