And, eat we did! And drink! See those wine bottles? They just kept bringing new ones. It was hard to tell where one ended and the other began.
First course: appetizer of bruschetta, meats, olives, etc.
Second course: spelt soup. This was surprisingly good with olive oil poured on top!
Third course: homemade pasta "sheets" with a Bolognese sauce.
Fourth course: grilled meats, potato fritters, and lettuce. There was a light dessert, too, but by this time my fingers weren't working very well thanks to the wine so I didn't get a picture of it.
Afterwards, there was dancing outdoors to a DJ. Everyone got into the spirit. It was nice to get to know our traveling partners.
