Day 4 Evening

Come with me as we eat dinner at an authentic working vineyard and olive oil factory.

First, we got a tour of the vineyard. It was so pretty in the setting sun.

We ate in the Cantina, which is really a wine cellar.

And, eat we did! And drink! See those wine bottles? They just kept bringing new ones. It was hard to tell where one ended and the other began.

First course: appetizer of bruschetta, meats, olives, etc.

Second course: spelt soup. This was surprisingly good with olive oil poured on top!

Third course: homemade pasta "sheets" with a Bolognese sauce.

Fourth course: grilled meats, potato fritters, and lettuce. There was a light dessert, too, but by this time my fingers weren't working very well thanks to the wine so I didn't get a picture of it.

Afterwards, there was dancing outdoors to a DJ. Everyone got into the spirit. It was nice to get to know our traveling partners.

We staggered strolled down the lane to our waiting bus, sated and happy.
