Here is the second pennant for Lisa's Spring Banner Challenge.
The optional element was to incorporate plaid, checkerboard, or argyle into it.
I knew I wanted to use "plaid" because of the "P" but it kind of threw me for a loop. I had no idea how I was going to connect it to spring. So, I sat at my craft desk and doodled for awhile and realized that the plaid I was drawing looked a bit like a nest. I used scrpas of ribbon and twine to make my nest look plaid.

Linda, you win poetic everytime! The plaid nests are incredible! I just love your perspective on each pennant! So much so I would like your permission to use your haiku from the dream banner. I have mine hanging in my bedroom and I would like to add a tag to each pennant with your haiku. They just seem to complete it!
Linda, I can learn much from all of the ladies here. I really love the egg theme of your banner. The plaid nest is a brilliant idea too.
How beautiful, such a lovely idea. Love the soft colours.
What a gorgeous pennant with the beautiful bird's nest on it!
