First Banner

Lisa at http://simple-journeys.blogspot.com/ is hosting Banner Month. Each Wednesday we post a banner about Dreams. This week's banner had to have a D on it and a dragonfly (optional).

This is my first time participating in something like this and it's fun. I've only been doing this type of project for less than a year so felt kind of reluctant at first but figured it would be a good way to see other people's work and get inspiration.

My haiku reads:

Asleep, I learn that
dreams are like dragonflies~
the future has wings.

lovely haiku, Linda ... I came to your blog by way of Simon's StuckinaBook.

in your previous post you mentioned buying books at Borders in Keene ... is that Keene, NH? I think so because your profile describes location as New England. Are you aware of Lorianne's blog?

http://hoardedordinaries.wordpress.com/

she lives in Keene and teaches at the college there

What a small world it is ... here I am on an island off the west coast of Canada, you're at the east coast of the US, and we meet by a bookaholic friend in England.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments!

Amy: I'm glad I'm participating, too!

Kristin: Poetry is really my first love and I try to incorporate it into most things I do.

Penny: I agree with you about the inspiration!

Gabrielle: Yes, I'm glad i joined in!

Silvia: Thanks for your email and compliment.

Janice: I tried to email you but the email listed for you wouldn't work. My son lives in Keene and we live about 3 hours north of there. I'll definitely check out that blog! Thanks! It is a small world!
