Bokehlicious

Rode my bike to the beach today.



Everything was so pretty.



Took the two pictures above with my phone then got my big girl camera out to catch some bokeh.












It was a gorgeous day and I wrote the following poem about it.

A million sparkles
on the ocean.

Clear sky.
Can see heaven
and it looks like a beach.
This beach.
Right here.
Right now.

Just a few
dots of people,
a lone fisherman,
white seagulls.

Thoughts squawk
in my head
telling me to move.

I get up,
walk to a piece
of driftwood,
skooch down,
put my camera
in aperture priority,
focus on the wood,
and, abracadabra,
the water turns
into diamonds.
