When I'm Sixty-four

"When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now
Will you still be sending me a valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine?"

Yup, I turned sixty-four this week.

My friend, Anne, sent me these lyrics and I've been humming them since!

My sister Sally brought the shrimp dip, the bottle of wine, the card, and the scratch ticket. I won $5!

I got to speak to both kids and Facetimed with Kylie.

Gary and I took the boat down to the end of the canal. He did some fishing. I took some pictures.

And played Slotomania on my iPad. I'm so glad I got the one with cellular capabilities. Look at one of my winnings this week.

Too bad it's not real money! Fun, though!

After fishing we boated to Harpoon Harry's for supper. I played around with self portraits. I'm participating in a year-long workshop called 52 of You. It's not easy! This was the only keeper in about twenty shots.

We were going pretty fast and I was hoping to catch some bokeh in the sparkling water but all I caught was the wind in my hair. Made me feel like a kid again! Sixty-four isn't so bad, after all!

Ahh, the Aquarian, eh? I love Aquarians. I remember when Paul McCartney turned 64 and I wondered how he felt about it compared to his lyrics written when he was still young and spry. This year he turns 71 and he still looks good to me. LOL! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and many, many more!
