My husband found this hawk feather at his job and thought I'd like it for my journal. He was right!
Another thing I found when I was going through drawers is an old autograph book that I got when I was ten. It was falling apart so I decided to use some of the pages in my journal. This one was written by my younger sister.
From my seat in the living room I could see that maple tree reflected in an antique mirror we have in the hallway. I almost needed sunglasses!

That page from your autograph book makes me think of mine at about that age. Besides some friends, my mom, dad and grandparents had signed it with sweet messages. A hoodlum stole my purse with the autograph book in it out of our car. I remember nothing else that was in the purse, but I've wished for that autograph book a hundred times, even tho it has been over 40years.
I don't remember having a autograph book but I did get Kurt Russell's autograph 3 times when he came to our school when I was 16yrs old. He even said Good-bye to me when I left the class room.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
Funny poem in the autograph book and sweet of your husband to bring home a feather for you!
