I was positive I'd see the moon this night. But, no!
I did stand in front of this red house for awhile sketching it. I just loved the color against the sky.
When I got home, I used cardstock to 'build" it.

And then...finally...on the fourth night, there it was!
I used cotton batting to form the clouds.
The song is one I remember my grandfather singing at Silver Lake after a few beers. I can still hear his deep voice...

Chuckling about the moon laying like a hammock.
What a great memory to have of your grandfather singing that song.
I really like listening to men
sing with deep voices.
I thought I had the house left
to post on. I see you have them both together.
Really liking your Moon Journal
and like this page also of the house.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
Hi Linda! I am enjoying the moon journal! This page is my favorite so far. I love the hammock moon in the clouds! I am still jealous of all that ocean time you are racking up!! I have been missing you over at my ol' blog. My post for today is a vicarious trip to the beach. Enjoy the sand and salty air!
