A Little Tour of My Classroom

I took my camera to school with me this morning so I could get some pictures of the sun when it rises and creates shadows in the woods.

Then I decided to take a few pictures of my room.  This first one shows all the poetry books I own. 

I'm hoping to read all of them once I'm retired.

the #1 Dad cup is a project a kid passed in last semester and left with me.

The camoflage balloon was a gift to a kid who didn't want it so he offered it to me.

And this one is the beautiful mural some kids painted for the teacher who had this room before me.

I got the cabinet from the print shop when they got a grant to upgrade their furniture.

Notice the nice matched desks!  They used to be all cranberry but over the years they broke and were replaced with yellow and blue.

And, aren't those bookcases nifty?  Boxes turned on their sides.  We have a very poor school!

I was pretty happy to do a page for each day of my vacation. 

Cleaning Off My Desk

I just picked up the stuff cluttering my desk and glued it on the right.

Mid Week

That huge fish was in a birthday card my husband got from my friend, Anne.  Right up his alley!

Found it!

I was in the guest room this morning changing the sheets because Nathan and Danielle are on their way up for the weekend.  I happened to glance on the shelf of the night table and there the third shell was!  All snug in this metal basket that was originally downstairs; she hid that, too!

Enjoying Myself

I bought the gold pen about a month ago and forgot about it until I reorganized my craft area the other day.  I love it!  It writes easily on the acrylic paint and it's not too skinny.  It's a Gelly Roll metallic.  I'm going to look for more of these!

Ah, Vacation!

When I used the last Lunar New Year stamp, I almsot threw the sheet they came on away.

But I didn't and used it here.
