
Everything was so pretty.

Took the two pictures above with my phone then got my big girl camera out to catch some bokeh.




It was a gorgeous day and I wrote the following poem about it.
A million sparkles
on the ocean.
Clear sky.
Can see heaven
and it looks like a beach.
This beach.
Right here.
Right now.
Just a few
dots of people,
a lone fisherman,
white seagulls.
Thoughts squawk
in my head
telling me to move.
I get up,
walk to a piece
of driftwood,
skooch down,
put my camera
in aperture priority,
focus on the wood,
and, abracadabra,
the water turns
into diamonds.
