Enough, Already!

Yes, it's beautiful but I'm just so darn sick of snow!
This is what we woke up to this morning. It snowed most of the morning then rained all afternoon.

And this is what I saw tonight just as the clouds cleared a few minutes before the sun set.
That's a mountain covered in snow and highlighted by the setting sun.  You can see it better if it's enlarged.

Kind of a quiet page because it was a quiet week!

SkyWatch Friday: Dusk in Swanzey, NH

I took this from my son's deck tonight.

Want to see more skies?  Go to SkyWatch Friday.

Another Kylie Pic

Good morning.  The sun is shining but I'm still being lazy and, truth be told, I'm loving it!
I have been going out for walks at night and that feels wonderful.
Monday will be here too soon.
But it's nice knowing that summer vacation is not far behind!

Kylie's Artwork

Kylie loves drawing in my journal and I love having her do it!

I'm in the middle of my April vacation and being very lazy.  I don't know why I have no energy but I'm just going with it for now.  At first I blamed the rainy weather but the sun is shining today and I still feel the same way.

It's a good thing I have a hair appointment this afternoon to get me out of the house.  And our assignment at Picture Spring is to take a photo into the sun to create flare.  I think I'll take a walk through the Smith Hydro Park to see what's blossoming and snap away.

How do you get yourself out of a lazy mood?

I took this on Thursday from our porch as I was getting ready to leave Florida.

...And a Week Later

I did this page before flying to Florida with my brother to see our mom who has been laid up with a cracked pelvis and dislocated shoulder from a fall.
We found a beautiful assisted-living place for her and got her moved in.  It offers extended nursing care which is what she needs right now.
