Spring Picture

Kylie asked if she could draw a picture in my journal.  I said yes, of course.
She did everything on the page except she wanted me to draw the purple flowers.

Woke up to blowing snow.  Lucky us!

Christmas

We had a great day.  Kylie has brought the magic back into our Christmas.

My daughter, Erin, and her husband, Shaun, Kylie's parents.

My son, Nathan and his grilfriend, Danielle, learning how to play Kylie's Nintendo DS.

Tree

Shopped all morning then wrapped the gifts all afternoon.

Gary brought this tree home from his job and I decorated it with my mom's vintage ornaments.  I'd rather have my mom here, though!

Holiday Stamps

I haven't been journaling much.  Lots going on and it's a busy season.  Kylie's been staying with us on the weekends and I've been having fun doing things with her.

The oldest stamps cost 32 cents and there are four different ones so I'm thinking that price stuck around for four years.

My favorite is still the third one down on the right.  It is just so elegant.  It came in four different colored backgrounds.

Of the two Hanukkah stamps, I like the more colorful one best (bottom center).  I always saved them and used them on birthday cards since they look like candles on a cake instead of a Menorah.

Dirty Face and All

Kylie spent the weekend with us.  Her mom brought her up Friday evening and we all went out to eat.  When we got back, Kylie wanted to play on the computer.  I love her expression!

Someone needs to polish her nails!

Hard at work thinking.

Road Trip

I smeared so much paint on this page that it took overnight to dry.

The "Practice Kindness" squares came in the mail from Big Picture Classes because I've taken several of their online photography courses.

When opened, one says, "Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out."

And the other one says, "It is when we forget ourselves that we do things that are most likely to be remembered."

The peachy butterfly flew from Anne in Florida.
