I've been wanting to do something with the old Underwood typewriter that has been in our garage for years. So, I dug it out and cleaned it off a bit and packed it to go to our home in Florida. But first I took a few pictures.
It just seems right that a writer should display a typewriter.
My fingers are itching to tap away at those keys.
I'm definitely going to find a spot for it.
And, now, I think I need to go write a poem!

Awesome old typewriter. Let us know where it lands. I love your photography.
What a treasure! Yes, as a writer it should garner a consequential location in your new home. In my mind's eye, I see it on a console table in an entrance hallway flanked by a vintage lamp on one side and a hydrangea filled crystal vase on the other.
Eu estudei datilografia em uma máquinas dessa em 1975. Que saudades!
